This company was founded by Mr. Thomas Crapper in 1861, in Chelsea, London.  He soon established a fine reputation for manufacturing the best sanitaryware and was invited by the Prince of Wales (later Edward the Seventh) to provide the plumbing and bathroom wares for Sandringham, still one of the royal family's favourite residences today.  Four royal warrants followed over the years and goods were supplied to many palaces and castles.

Thomas Crapper retired in 1904 but the firm continued in the care of his nephew, George Crapper, and the Wharam family.  Subsequently it changed hands and moved premises but still all manufacturing is done in Great Britain and the old standards and principles are strictly maintained. Now run by enthusiasts, we produce the only truly authentic range of Victorian/Edwardian bathroom fittings available anywhere.  These are exact replicas of our products of around 120 years ago: washbasins, WC sets, baths and all of the brass fittings to go with them.

Our goods can be purchased direct from our web-site but we have a number of expert retailers who can offer advice, take your order and indeed install it all for you.   We also supply architects, interior designers, restaurants, pubs, museums and hotels.
